The Coin in this painting is not immediately noticeable and it has no denomination designated on its face. It is for all intents and purposes barely distinguishable from its surrounding, yet it has its own story. This is not unlike all of the people around us that dont make a big splash and don't have a strong face, their story is still alive and counts as much as any other coins, gold or otherwise.
